Plymouth-Canton Community Literacy Council
We are a volunteer, non-profit organization aiming to improve adult literacy in Plymouth-Canton and surrounding areas of Western Wayne County. Our mission is to provide adults in Western Wayne County who have limited English language abilities in developing vital reading, writing, and communication skills to help them participate in the community and reach their potential in life.

New Conversation Group:
CLC has partnered with Westland Public Library, 6123 Central City Parkway in Westland, to provide an ESL conversation group! Weekly conversation groups are on Wednesdays from 1:00pm - 2:30pm. It takes a lot of courage to travel to a new country, learn a new language, navigate a pandemic, and ask for help. Our students are adventurous and brave individuals. And our tutors are Rock Stars!
